The interview lasted for about 10-15 minutes and I’m in! I didn’t even ask for this nor did I actually apply. I was busy sending out my ad for hiring part-time writers and it just landed on my lap. Next thing I know, I was being set up for an interview, 20 minutes before the interview, and thanks to skype and Richie’s skype credits, I was able to make that call.
Prior to making that call though, I was really getting cold and nervous. It’s been ages since I got interviewed. Most of the time, I do the interviewing part. But I just took everything in, inhaled deeply and entrusted everything to God. I just showed who I was, what I did, I listened and paid attention. The CEO I talked to knew what he wanted and I honored that. Next thing I know, he was wlecoming me to the company!
Basically, I’ll be working from home, Central Time (Dallas, Texas) and reporting directly to the CEO of the company. I get paid in dollars which is basically equivalent (even more) than my basic pay in my previous job since this one has no tax cuts whatsoever. Wow!
Ok, let me breathe for a while…
Then I got hired again, for a board position, in a multi-media company to handle admin. work. This one’s located here in Manila but I can also work from home except when I have to attend board meetings and do client calls. Another wow!
On top of all that, I’m still finishing a project where I hire writers to rewrite stuff for me. If I am able to manage all my resources well, I might just be able to do all these things together.
Now, I don’t feel so bad anymore for my zero page rank in google. It’s been bothering me for days and that’s alright. From what I gathered, almost everybody’s page rank went down due to a new algorithm being implemented by google. Anyway, when a window closes, a host of doors opens! Plus, I’ve been wanting for so long to just enjoy myself at home while earning at the same time.
On the other hand, if I do formally accept these jobs, my whole schedule will alter:
- I can no longer go to Bacolod to do the acting and make-up classes.
- I might not have the time to go to Cebu and Bohol.
- I may even have to cancel my Jakarta flights.
Unless, I get the Smart Plug-It. But I’m not yet sure if that can grant really fast internet access ala broadband connection like what I have at home now. With the Dallas job, I cannot afford to lose contact with my boss. I’ll study that Plug-It first and who knows, I might just be able to pull them all off — vacation, avenues for new learning and exciting jobs all at the same time! It’s just a matter of attracting ALL I want. Again, many thanks to The Secret.
Oh, and this does not even include the things I was referring to when I wrote‘When It Rains, It Pours’. WOW!!! When everything works out, I might just be able to afford having a stay-at-home husband instead. Now, that’s gonna be a realWOW!
