It was an awesome day for me and Jana. The sun was shining brightly so early in the morning and it wasn't that windy (which is actually bad news for all the kitesurfers and windsurfers by the way, tsk, tsk. But good news for us, hehehe.)
Since there was nothing left to do for us hardworkinmg marshals, I took the time to get my much needed tan...
An hour has passed and still, all the kites were still down, waiting for the wind to pick up speed...
So we just hung out with our fellow marshal, Remus (who also DJs at Beachcomber Bar at night).
It was already 3pm and still no wind... So, all the surfers went ahead with the costume party in preparation for that night's fashion show at Summer Place!
They were hilarious!!!
Since Rob and the rest of the gang who wore costumes had to go to the venue, Jana and I again took this opportunity to visit white beach for some swimming time...
This is because the waters in Bulabog beach is not ideal for swimming. Aside from the seaweeds and corals that abound in the area, there are some deadly sea urchins too. Plus the fact that Bulabog beach is where Boracay sort of dumps its waste (I actually saw a long trail of brown liquid floating in the water...eewwww!!!).
It was almost sunset but we managed to spend an hour just having fun by the beach and occasionally splashing in the waters...
And you know Jana, the ever friendly being in the planet. She just introduced ourselves to this sweet lady who turned out to be a Filipina nurse in the US, spending her vacay here in Bora.
Then it was time to go back to our hotel, Sun Village, to get ready for that night's party. But before that, I bought myself one of my fave chocolates and took a dip in the pool.
Then it was time to prepare for the pahtee!!!
