My Hong Kong Disneyland 2013 Adventure

Like I said in my previous Hong Kong Disney Hollywood post, the last time I was here at Hong Kong Disneyland was in November 2007… almost 6 years ago. I’ve always wanted to go back and now that I finally did, this time with my mom, I couldn’t contain my excitement, especially since they have two (2) new attractions ---  ToyStory Land and Grizzly Gulch which I will discuss in detail here. But before that, I want to share with you my experience in chronological order. We’ll get to the exciting parts later.

So it was around 2:30 pm when we finished our scrumptious lunch at Crystal Lotus in Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. We took the complimentary shuttle bus service from Disneyland Hotel to the Disneyland Theme Park and before 3:00 pm, my mom and I were already taking pictures at the entrance and at the Main Street USA (which we also did the next day).

Our Hong Kong Disney Hollywood Hotel Stay

It’s been six years since the first time I’ve been to Hong Kong to explore Disneyland and its hotels. I was with my husband, Peter, then. We had plans of going back but it never pushed through because of his very hectic work schedule. My mom, on the other hand, has been bugging me to go back and to take her with me since she’s never been to Hong Kong Disneyland. So this time around, with my cameras and a few pieces of clothing in tow, I brought her with me. And it’s been one of the best times of her life. Okay, mine too I must admit.

Things To Do In Orlando

Being the 27th largest metropolitan region in US and 5th largest metropolitan region in the South Eastern United States, Orlando is the 3rd largest metro area of Florida. Number of population crossing 238,300 in residents makes the city of Orlando the 80th largest city of US. Orlando is US’s 5th largest population on the grounds of population. The city of Orlando became a proper ‘city’ in the year of 1885. The three major of airport in Orlando is The Orlando International Airport, Orlando Executive Airport and The Orlando Sanford International Airport. The airports of Orlando bring in an introduction to the state. An Orlando tour will help you fulfill the dream of visiting Walt Disney. This will be easier with the help of car hire Orlando.

Orlando is full of family parks, theme parks, restaurants, water sports and much more. All these make Orlando as the top most tourists’ destinations with family all over world. This can also be clear from the fact that daily more than 80,000 passengers check in and check out from the airports of Orlando. These passengers are treated with some of the excellent facilities in the airport. The travelers of Orlando are facilitated with more than 2 dozens of bars, restaurants and micro brewery, hotels and a number of shops at the airport.

Top Attractions You Must Visit on Florida Holidays

To narrow down just a handful of top attractions in the ‘theme park capital of the world’ and the place that is most famous for Disneyworld holidays, is no easy feat, as the Sunshine State offers this and so much more. Personal opinion dictates the ‘top’ attractions but here is a selection of popular favourites guaranteed not to disappoint the likes of either families or couples:

Hong Kong Disney Hollywood Hotel - Goodbye!

It was our last day in Hong Kong. Our 4 days / 3 nights mini vacation in this magical land is now about to come to an end and we will truly miss it.

Look at this very beautiful sunrise. You can see the silhouette of the other hotel, Disneyland Hotel, from a distance. That's where we plan to stay next time, even for just one night.
This is the view of the pool from our floor.
Too bad, we didn't bring our swimwear so we never got to fully enjoy it.

Hong Kong Disneyland Hello!!!

It's been almost a year since Peter and I went to Hong Kong and it's only now that this series of travelogues is about to come to an end (awwww). For those who want a bit of a background about this trip, and especially for those who want to get some information on how to travel  to Hong Kong the Sexy Nomad way,  do read my previous posts:  Hong Kong Arrival, Hong Kong City Tour, Lantau Island, Big Budha and Po Lin Monastery, Night River Cruise

For this travelogue, I have nothing else to say except that Disney Land is truly a wonderful world for the young ones and the young at heart. I really felt like a kid the whole time we were there! So since I've run out of words to describe the experience, let me just share these tons of pictures we have...

Going There

Checking-in at Disney Hollywood Hotel
* The stay cost us around Php10,000 for one night but it was all worth it! Next time we go to Disney, we're checking in at the Disney Castle Hotel. It's a bit pricier than the Hollywood Hotel at Php12,000/night, but we are so willing to spend that much if only to experience this big happy place once again.*
