Why I Love Angol Beach in Boracay

The stretch of white, powdery sand lined with coconut trees and cozy resorts along Angol beach has been one of my few favorite places in Boracay during my one month stay there. This part of Boracay is peaceful and the people I saw hanging out there, like me, were the quiet ones who just liked to sunbathe while reading a good book or those who liked to sleep under the heat of the glorious sun.

Boracay Diaries: Finding Balance Between Work and Play

My first week in paradise has gone by so fast. I know I cried the minute you left but in five minutes or so I was back on my feet again and looking forward to the afternoon when I can go to the beach, lie on the sand and soak in the sun. It was a lifestyle I’ve always dreamed of. It’s just too bad you can only be with me for about 10 days out of the 33 days of solitude I choose to have.

Rediscovering Angol Beach @ Boracay

I first discovered Angol Beach in 2008 when I was in Boracay as a marshal for the 20th Neil Pryde Fun Board Cup. We held one of our evening parties there at Acanthus Resort and though it was night time, I already knew how beautiful that part of Boracay was with its lush coconut trees, beautiful houses and inviting shore.
