It was our third and last day of sightseeing in Davao and we wanted to make the most out of it. Good thing that the cab driver was punctual and by 8am, we were already on our way to our first destination, EDEN NATURE PARK.
The ride was considerably long so we took advantage of this by napping. We were both still quite tired from all the sightseeing we’ve done the last two days. After an hour, we reached Eden. I was amazed at how huge it was! 80 hectares in fact! Altho we were only able to tour 40 hectares of it since the other half is still undeveloped and is partly being used as housing grounds for its many employees.
Eden Nature Park has the following activities and facilities: Fishing Village where one can catch his own fish and be able to bring it home; Swimming Pool that is situated at the highest point of the resort; 3-ON-3 Basketball Court and Pinoy Games where areas for “piko” and “patintero” are situated; Campsite and Camphuts where one can enjoy outdoor adventure by pitching tents and camping; Souvenir Shop that features native handicrafts and various knick-knacks; Trading Station where one can buy plants, seedlings, etc.; Vista Playground wjhere children love to play especially in the IndianaJones ride adjacent the Vista Restaurant where gastronomical experience awaits you; and the 4-km. Mountain Trail carved along towering trees, creeks and boulders.
