What to expect aboard the P&O Arcadia

There are seven ships among the P&O fleet and the Arcadia is one of the most elegant and stylish of the lot. There is a real air of sophistication on-board helped by the thousands of artworks that you'll find as you wander around what is a mid-size and quite majestic vessel.

As an adults-only ship, the P&O Arcadia can offer its guests the chance to unwind and relax in a refined environment that sails to some of the world's most exotic locations. The ship in fact makes its way from Southampton on the south coast of England to places as far afield as San Francisco, South America and Australia. And of course there are some truly incredible sights to see and hotspots to visit on along the way.

A key element of what most of us are looking for from a quality cruise holiday involves some tasty food and drink. Well the Arcadia has an imaginative array of dinning areas and restaurants on-board so passengers can take their pick from Italian, Asian and traditionally British foods. And a particular favourite for many is the Ocean Grill, a Marco Pierre White restaurant.

Meanwhile, up towards the top of the Arcadia sits the Crows' Nest lounge and bar where guests often get to know one another and while away many an evening hour while looking right out to sea. Your on-board entertainments include comedy and live music and there are too many areas designed for relaxed outdoor enjoyment to mention them all here. You'll just have to book one of the company's upcoming trips and find out what delights the Arcadia can offer for yourself.

And if you are particularly keen to make sure you get a great value holiday this time around then it is well worth checking out P&O's late cruise deals as they become available online. A little research in this regard could end up saving you some significant sums on your next cruise.
